4th Annual Children & Youth Choir Festival

The CCCC will be hosting other choirs from around the state (including Menlo Park, San Carlos, Fresno, and Aptos, CA) in a day long Choir Festival held at Grace Church, SLO, on Saturday, April 17th, 2010 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. Our special guest clinician Dr. Chris Peterson will be offering musical guidance to choir groups. Additionally, the interest sessions that we will be offering are an African Movement and Dancing session with Naomi Brebes-Menza as well as a Vocal Exploration session with Jennifer Barnes (who has written arrangements for the former GlenEllyn Children's Chorus). Both of these sessions promise to be both fun and educational for our singers.

2010 Spring Concert

The Central Coast Children’s Choir will perform their 2010 Spring Concert, An American Mosaic, at Grace Church, San Luis Obispo on Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Join our choirs of over 100 children for a musical journey through our American musical heritage on the day before Mother's Day. Styles will include American folk music,ragtime, barbershop, spirituals, jazz, patriotic and selections from Broadway musicals such as"Music Man", "Oliver", "West Side Story" and "Fiddler on the Roof". Directors Beth Klemm, Melody Svennungsen, Dr. Thomas Davies, Anne Olson, Paula Womble and Cassandra Tarantino will conduct the six levels of singers, including San Luis Obispo County’s only Boy’s choir. Premium seating is available on a first come first served basis atthe cost of $15 pr ticket. General seating tickets are $10, and seniors and students under the age of 12 may purchase tickets for $8. Black and White On Broadway Benefit Concert

The Central Coast Children’s Choir will host a fabulous evening of rich entertainment accompanied by divine food and wine on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the Monday Club in SLO. Expect to be dazzled by our musical guests as they perform Broadway hits. There will be a wide selection of fine auction items to fit every budget. All proceeds from this memorable evening will help CCCC continue to teach and inspire music in the children of SLO County. More details to come soon...
